SEOUL, Jan 6 Asia Pulse - Large-sized companies seem to want to devote all their energies to survive in the new Internet age as stressed recently by President Kim Dae-jung.

The president has vowed to make Korea one of the world's top 10 nations in the information industry within this century in his New Year's message Monday.

Information and Communications Minister Namgoong Suek predicted the number of Internet users in Korea will reach 13 million this year and over 20 million next year.
