Dave: I grew up playing in rock and roll bands and pop music bands, and it was always very amplified. My older brother -- he grew up playing electric guitar. That's why I think I opted to find the loudest mouth piece and the brightest reed, so that I could compete with the wall of sound that was emanating from the band.
