Cape Town, South Africa (PANA) - One of the world's most wanted fugitives, James Kilgore appeared in a Cape Town court on Monday after his arrest last week by South African police ended a 26- year manhunt worldwide.

Kilgore was arrested in an upmarket Cape Town suburb on Friday night and the court has begun hearing plans to extradite him to the US, where he allegedly committed a bulk of the crimes.

Kilgore, who is wanted for murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of destructive devices, had been living in Cape Town for the past five years under the name Charles Pape. The last charge refers to homemade ...
