(SGT-HANOI) The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines posted the first-half revenue at VND5.29 trillion, 52.4% of the year target and up 12% year-on-year, according to the January-June report of the carrier.
Vietnam Airlines paid VND356.8 billion in tax, equal to 67.4% of the year target, and rising by 24% over the year earlier period.
The carrier operated 18,262 flights to serve 1,950,526 passengers in the period, a 11% better performance, averaging out at 10,975 people flying with Vietnam Airlines everyday.
