Despite so-so weather, U.S. cross country skiers were able to get plenty of on-snow time in mid-August during the week-long training camp on the Eagle Glacier outside Anchorage. Five of the six national team athletes were at the camp along with the Development Team.
"It was a solid camp. The weather could've been a little better, but everything went off on time," Coach Miles Minson said, "and everyone was able to get what they needed--plenty of time on snow.
