Collect ten points for each question answered correctly. Answers on page 90. (If you score 80 or better, you are a baseball expert; 70 or better, superior; between 60 and 70, good, and between 40 and 60, average.

1. Since 1900, there have been only three players in major league history to hit four home runs in one game and hit for the cycle in a big league contest. Lou Gehrig accomplished both feats for the Yankees and Chuck Klein did it for the Phillies. For ten points, who is the only other player to club four homers in a game and also hit for the cycle in a game: Willie Mays, Rocky Colavito, Gil Hodges or Mike Schmidt?

2. Who is the only switch-hitter to hit a home run from both sides of the plate in a post-season game: Mickey Mantle, Bernie Williams, Ken Caminiti or Willie McGee?

3. Last season, Ugueth Urbina of the Red Sox saved 40 games to become the sixth closer in major league history to register 40 or more saves in a season in both the American and National leagues. Urbina saved 41 games for the Expos in 1999. Collect ten points if you can identify two of the five other relief specialists who accomplished this feat

4. Lou Gehrig, Chuck Klein and Todd Helton are the only players to collect 100 or more extra-base hits in a season more than once. Which one of these three sluggers is the only player to accomplish this feat in back-to-back campaigns?

5. In 2002, seven pitchers in the majors struck out 200 or more batters. Collect ten points if you can identify five of these seven hurlers.

6. Since 1968 when the A's played their first season in Oakland, the club has had nine different 20-game winners. For ten points, you must name six of these nine 20-game winning pitchers for the Oakland Athletics.
