PPG makes tangerine dreams come true. (Final Coat).(PT Tangerine Dream Cruiser Series 2)
PPG and Chrysler have teamed up to produce a new limited edition version of the popular PT Cruiser. Covered with a special tangerine pearl coat paint, the PT Tangerine Dream Cruiser Series 2 will go into limited production in January 2003 at the company's Toluca assembly plant in Mexico.
"The Tangerine Dream Cruiser Series 2 is yet another flavor of the Chrysler PT Cruiser," said Tom Marinelli, vice president, Chrysler marketing. "It will satisfy the desires of PT Cruiser owners who want to customize their vehicles and really pull away from the crowd."
Only 7,500 Series 2 PT Cruisers will be available in North America with another 2,000 available for international markets.
