From time to time, members ask why NEA Today accepts advertising.

The answer is really a matter of simple economics. Advertising dollars allow us to offset some of the cost of producing and mailing this magazine to NEA's 2.6 million members (excluding the Association's higher education members.)

As you've probably noticed, the largest advertiser in NEA Today is NEA Member Benefits Corporation, a separate and wholly owned subsidiary of NEA that offers an array of products at attractive prices to NEA's membership.

Our commercial advertisers vary somewhat from year to year, but they tend to come from the ranks of companies in core areas such as …
