The Beach. (Story).(Short Story)
It really is a most beautiful beach. On a sunny day the blue sea shines with a million yellow diamonds, forming itself into regimented rows that thump and run crashing and hissing up the clean white sand. I have lived a great deal of my life with the sad but wonderful sound of the surf, with the continual calls of the seabirds that fly overhead or pick around the edge of the sand, and with the fresh smell of a salty wind that has blown across many, many miles of open ocean.
