   The city revives. 
   From all points, extremities 
   it draws the life-blood people 
   who enter its veins daily: a matter of coursing. 
 
   They bring in good air, lung-fresh 
   from where trains pull many, many. 
   From the Coast, and from Mountains 
   from south and west they flow and surge. 
 
   To approach the heart 
   comes the trickle traffic, oscillating, shunting;
