With all the efforts tourism officials are making to promote Hawaii as a safe place to travel, Gov. Ben Cayetano missed out on a big opportunity.
Peter Greenberg, host of the "Travel Show" on KABC in Los Angeles and the travel editor for NBC's "Today Show," invited Cayetano as a guest during his live call-in show from the Kahala Mandarin Oriental last weekend.
But at the last minute Cayetano declined to be on the No.1 radio show.
