Following a MOU (memorandum of understanding) signing in recent months, Hynix Semiconductor signed a formal contract to hand over its STN-LCD operation to a joint consortium comprised of China's DongBang Electronics and Semicon Engineering Co. in Korea for roughly 75 billion won.
