The Democratic Alliance has amended its interim constitution to allow 10 former Nationalists to be part of the DA's national management committee (NMC). MP James Selfe, who is the NMC chairman, said in a media statement on Sunday: "Effectively this will give members of the DA who are or were members of the NNP, and who were shamefully abandoned by their leadership, direct representation on the highest decision-making of the DA."
