Once again, the National Association of Credit Management will honor the outstanding performance and accomplishment of credit executives. We are requesting your nominations for the National Credit Executive of the Year, the National Designation of Excellence Awards for the CBA, CBF, and CCE, and the NACM/Robert Half and Accountemps Student and Instructor of the Year, Mentor of the Year and the newly developed Best Article Award.
The National Credit Executive of the Year and the Designation of Excellence Awards are designed to recognize exemplary service and commitment by professional designation holders to the business credit profession. At the annual Credit Congress, the award winners will be announced and honored at the Opening General Session in front of hundreds of their peers, receiving special lapel pins.
The National Honors and Awards Committee looks for designation holders who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of the profession, through teaching, training, writing, and mentoring. The qualifying criterion is that the nominee must hold the appropriate designation. The awards will be presented to individuals who have truly advanced the profession.
Along with NACM's business partner, Robert Half and Accountemps, two awards were created: the NACM/Robert Half and Accountemps Student and Instructor of the Year Awards. The purpose is to honor participants pursuing and contributing to continuing education. These honors will be bestowed on deserving candidates at the annual Credit Congress during the Opening General Session, each receiving monetary awards.
For only the second time, the Mentor of the Year Award is being presented. This award is given to an individual who has given of their time, effort and expertise to benefit a fellow credit professional. Mentors' selfless contributions are valuable assets to the credit community. The Mentor of the Year is also acknowledged at the annual Credit Congress with a personalized writing pen.
ANNOUNCING THE BEST ARTICLE AWARD--The Honors and Awards Committee is pleased to announce this new award. This honor will acknowledge the author of a finely written article on a topic designated by the Committee. The author will be recognized at the annual convention receiving a commemorative display of their article. The article will e published in Business Credit magazine.
