Turbolinux Pioneer Goes Proprietary.(Cliff Miller)

In what was left of the good old days last year after Cliff Miller put Turbolinux, the operating system company he started, in the hands of professional management to take it public - an adventure the economy foiled - he set out to start another company that would be a Linux-based outsource storage service provider focused initially on the PacRim with data centers in Silicon Valley and Tokyo. Cliff, who was party to Turbo's raising its first $60 million, was already counting the underwriting.
