Ashlar-vellum's new drafting program. (product spotlight).(Graphite)(Product Announcement)
Product design software vendor Ashlar-Vellum has released the first member of its new family of programs, dubbed Designer Elements. The debut program, Graphite, is a drafting product that is based on the company's Vellum Drafting Assistant technology, which enables intelligent snaps and automatic alignments along X,Y, and Z axes. Another holdover from the original Vellum product line is a GUI designed for user friendliness.
However, Graphite is more than an old product with a new name, according to the company. Additions include a new navigator palette that lets users click through multiple sheets or layers, as well as full support for multiple sheet printing. Also new is a preview ...
