United States of America -- The manufacturer of filgrastim (Neupogen[R]) 300 [micro]g vials in ten-pack boxes has reported the existence of a counterfeit product. Neupogen is primarily used to prevent infection, as manifested by febrile neutropenia in cancer patients receiving myelotoxic chemotherapy.
