I am staring at my 2001 Heisman ballot. Near the top, I'm instructed to PLEASE PRINT. I guess they want to make sure they can decipher my choice. My printing is a strong suit. Just ask my old kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Williamson. The struggle is deciding what to print on this ballot that is staring back at me. I haven't focused this intensely on a piece of paper since Mr. DeYoung's ninth-grade algebra final in 1980. This Heisman voting business makes trying to figure out the quadratic equation look simple.
