Centers
Barring any top juniors coming out, this will be a lean crop of centers. The senior class has no first-round prospects, and probably only two first-day prospects.
1. Seth McKinney, 6-3, 294, Texas A&M. A scrappy fighter with good upper-body strength. Consistent performer. Plays with awareness. Overextends at times and falls off some blocks. Needs to learn to anchor better against big men. Brother Steve plays guard for the Colts.
2. LeCharles Bentley, 6-2, 290, Ohio State. Steady player who locks on and mashes defenders. Has a strong upper body and decent feet. Struggles with adjustments at times. Has a nasty streak.
3. Scott Peters, 6-3, 312, Arizona State. Fairly athletic blocker who can bend his knees. Physical player who gets movement. Has not played as well this season in a new scheme.
4. Melvin Fowler, 6-3, 295, ...
