SYDNEY, Dec 3 Asia Pulse - The Australian dollar is firmer from Friday but has experienced little price action over the early part of the day and dealers expect the unit to remain range bound over the course of the session.
At 1200 AEDT, the Australian dollar was trading at $US0.5210/15, from 0.5195/00 at Friday's close.
The Australian dollar has struggled to make a firm move forward after threatening the $US0.5230 area in UK Friday trade, but dealers said that there is sufficient buying interest to see the unit well supported on any dips below 0.5200.
