BRISBANE, Dec 3 Asia Pulse - Australian Magnesium Corp Ltd (AMC), a light metals group, has appointed six new directors as it gears up for the construction phase of the $A1.4 billion ($US721.98 million) Stanwell magnesium plant.
As previously flagged, current managing director Rod Sharp has taken over as chief executive officer from Normandy Mining Ltd appointee Creagh O'Connor.
The company recently completed a $525 million capital raising as the final funding plank for development of the 97,000 tonne per annum Stanwell plant.
The appointments to the board include Mr Sharp, construction specialist Tony Brown, Normandy chief Robert Champion de Crespigny, former Shell executive Ian Freer, accountant Ken Spencer and lawyer John Story.
