KOLKATA, Dec 3 Asia Pulse - Bata Shoe Organisation (BSO), the Toronto-based parent company of Bata India Limited, on Friday said the company might go in for fresh round of investment in West Bengal.

BSO chairman Thomas Bata, however, denied any move to increase stake in the Indian outfit in the immediate future. "We do not have any such proposal," Bata told reporters after meeting West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee at State Secretariat.

Asked whether the company was considering coming out with any buy back proposal, Bata said, "This is a question that will be dealt with by the Indian company's board."
