ISLAMABAD, Sept 3 Asia Pulse - The German government has decided to resume economic aid to Pakistan by offering new aid of DM 50 million and reactivating a previous loan of DM 100 million.
This information was passed on to Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz by Dr Rainer Gosdeler, Director for Asia at the Federal Ministry of Economic Co-operation and Development.
A German delegation, headed by Dr Gosdeler, appreciated the reforms introduced by the government and the results achieved so far despite the drought and the oil price increase.
