Although most Americans don't think the U.S. is in an energy crisis now, around six in ten expect one in the future. Three-quarters think their fellow citizens take energy supplies for granted and, at this point, most people haven't made big changes in their lifestyle to deal with rising energy costs. Americans think the Bush energy plan does too little to conserve energy. They are divided about whether it does the right amount or too little to produce it.
