RANDY JOHNSON, THE FIRST LEFTHANDER to win as many as 24 games in a season since Frank Viola did it for the Twins in 1988, continued his dominating performance as the most complete pitcher in the major leagues in 2002.

In fact, The Big Unit has been the most imposing figure to stride the pitcher's mound over the last ten years (1993-2002).

During that span, Johnson has won 175 games, lost 58 (.751 winning percentage), struck out 2,928 batters, tossed 29 shutouts and compiled a 2.73 ERA.
