Physical description: Astacio has a good, lean power pitcher's body with a long trunk.
Strengths and weaknesses: Astacio, 6-13 with a 5.40 ERA, has above-average command of his breaking ball, changeup and fastball. That command is either outstanding or lackluster. It is almost never average. His mechanics are poor--he hyperextends his elbow, which throws off his command. He also arches his head, tightening his back, further contributing to inconsistent command.
