Toon Boom Technologies, maker of the popular vector-based film and TV animation program USAnimation, has introduced a new tool designed specifically for professional Web animators. Toon Boom Studio, according to the company, is not a "light" version of USAnimation. "It's totally new software, written with new code, based on the needs of Web animators," says marketing director Benoit Beland.
Toon Boom Studio allows users to work in either of two modes: drawing or compositing.
