Is Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi still convinced that he will be able to bring the nation out of its current economic crisis solely through his structural reform drive?
The Cabinet Office's white paper on the economy and public finance for fiscal 2002 insists--as did a similar annual report issued for the previous year--that the Koizumi administration's structural reform campaign will provide the best cure for the nation's serious economic woes.
