The African National Congress will intensify its campaign to root out corruption in government, society and in its own ranks, delegates at the ANC's 51st national conference declared on Friday. "Conference has, therefore, resolved to strengthen mechanisms of accountability on the part of all cadres working with various sectors," ANC policy unit chief Jeff Radebe told a packed Stellenbosch University auditorium.
