Taipei, Nov. 5, 2002 (CENS)--Lite-On IT Corp. said yesterday that it may deliver over one million DVD-ROM burners for the first time this month and its sales will total about seven million units in the first 11 months, replacing LG of South Korea as the world's largest maker in the line

The above statement was announced by Kung Jen-wu, company president of Lite-On IT, in an investors conference held yesterday. Kung said that the firm's DVD-ROM burner production has increased significantly since early this year, with the amount soaring to 800,000 units per month in the third quarter from the corresponding figures of only 370,000 …
