IPOH, Sun. - Those who lose their travel documents due to negligence will be dealt with severely, Immigration Department director-general Datuk Mohd Jamal Kamdi said. He said loss of the documents left on a table was tantamount to gross negligence. He said there were cases of passports damaged or destroyed when they were left in the pockets of trousers sent for washing. Jamal was speaking after launching the state-level Immigration Day and "Value Your Passport" campaign at a hotel last night.
