Drug trafficking from Afghanistan through Kazakhstan is increasing, it was stated at a briefing in the Kazakh capital which discussed drug addiction and drug trafficking. A report by Kazakh Khabar TV, broadcast on 11 November, said that there are more than 250,000 drug addicts in Kazakhstan today.
