KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- Major currencies were mixed against the ringgit in early trade today with the dollar beginning to soften against yen.

A dealer said dollar retreated slightly against yen on profit taking following easing US stocks and fears of US-led forces attacking Iraq.

At 9 am today, the Japanese yen dropped to 3.1359/1381 against the ringgit from 3.1398/1427 on Monday.

The Singapore dollar strengthened to 2.1538/1556 against the local unit from 2.1534/1547 …
