Kenya: President Moi brands some opposition leaders "liars".

President Daniel arap Moi said today that it was a pity that some of the leaders in the opposition, who are referred to as prominent politicians, are actually liars who thrive on hatred and unorthodox means. President Moi said such leaders should not be entrusted with the leadership of this country.

He, for example, noted that Mr Kalonzo Musyoka, who professes to be a Christian, had told a serious lie that he had been promised the post of prime minister. He said Mr Musyoka should not tell the world he is a practising Christian and again contradict himself by telling (?flattering) lies.
