VAPORIZERS

Armstrong vaporizers are used to vaporize such fluids as chlorine, ammonia, ethylene and others stored as liquids but used as vapors. Normally steam heated, hot water, heat transfer fluids, or electricity may also be used.

CRYSTALLIZERS

Scraped surface crystallizers are widely used to separate organic chemicals such as fatty acids, many isomer mixes, sodium sulfate recovery, and cooling viscous fluids.

FINTUBE HEAT EXCHANGERS

Longitudinal finned tubes are used in many varieties of heat transfer equipment, such as tank heaters, suction and line heaters and partial condensers. The most frequent area of use is in heating viscous fluids.

ELECTRIC PROCESS HEATERS

Electric heaters for heavy duty process applications such as gas heating, high viscosity fluid heating, fluidized bed reactor heating, etc. Radiant and tubular designs. Excellent control and flexibility in hazardous areas.

VAPORIZERS

Armstrong vertical bayonet vaporizers are for use with materials stored as liquids, but used as vapors such as chlorine, ammonia, propane, sulfur dioxide, phosgene, and…
