Nov. 21--CHEYENNE -- Parents told the school board Monday that they object to a proposed attendance boundary for a new elementary school in east Cheyenne.

Four parents outlined concerns to Laramie County School District 1 trustees. Three of the four spoke for residents in the Cheyenne Ranch area who want their children to attend the new school at 12th Street and Taft Avenue instead of Bain Elementary as proposed.

The new school -- which should be finished late next summer -- is closer than Bain, they said. Parents also had concerns about traffic safety.
