DALLAS MAVERICKS: PF Dirk Nowitzki gets along well with teammates, coaches, media and fans. But his complaints about officiating are becoming chronic, and he leads the team in technicals. Nowitzki admits he's too emotional, but coach Don Nelson says Nowitzki's outbursts often are justified. In Nelson's opinion, Nowitzki doesn't get the respect from officials other All-Stars do.... Nelson finally saw a spark from struggling backup C Shawn Bradley, who had a strong game against Minnesota last week. Nelson has been upset over Bradley's indifferent play. The Mavericks will need Bradley in the playoffs when games become halfcourt oriented.--Ken Sins
