Pavel Kohout to receive high German order on Saturday.

PRAGUE, Nov 13 (CTK) - Czech writer and playwright Pavel Kohout will be decorated with one of the highest German orders, Great Merit Cross with a Star and Ribbon, for development of good Czech-German relations, Petra Dachtler from the German Embassy in Prague has informed CTK.

Kohout has been awarded the cross above all for his organisation of the annual Prague Theatre Festival of German Language. That is why the order will be presented to him by Michael Libal, the German ambassador to the Czech Republic, before this year's last festival performance in State Opera in Prague at 6:00 p.m.on Saturday.

Kohout was born in 1928. …
