Ernie Harwell is the best broadcaster I've ever been around. How do I know he's the best? I've never heard anybody say one bad thing about him, It's hard to say what makes Ernie so neat because there is so much to him. He is a wonderful person, husband, ambassador, scholar and teacher. For me, knowing him is the real treat. I'm a better person for having met Ernie.
