Biovitrum has signed an agreement with GlaxoSmithKline to develop and commercialize Biovitrum's substances for the treatment of obesity and other diseases. The collaboration concerns 5-HT2c receptor agonists. The most advanced of these is BVT.933, an appetite inhibitor which has been developed to Phase II by Biovitrum.
