KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9 (Bernama) -- It was yet another day of heavy traffic at the North-South Expressway yesterday as the people returned home after a long Aidilfitri break.
A total of 924,000 vehicles used the expressway yesterday with 22 accidents reported.
Works Minister Datuk Seri S.Samy Vellu, who monitored the expressway from the air with Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (PLUS) officers yesterday, told Bernama today that of the 22 cases reported, there were three fatalities.
