Car sales in Brunei has hit the 10,000 mark during the past eleven months, according to latest statistics available. And, pre-Hari Raya sales were the highest for a month, selling almost 1000 cars in November.

Cars with the engine capacities 1600 to 2000 cc are said to top the sales figures.

According to statistics revealed by the Brunei Automobile Traders Association (BATA), 10,179 passenger cars were sold. Among 4WDs, the most popular type was the 2001-3000 CC type.

NBT (B) Sdn Bhd, the distributor for Toyota leads the sales figures with a total of 1,992 cars …
