ANTI-ECONOMIC-RATIONALIST books are now a small genre, and Lindy Edwards' adds to the ten or so published in Australia since the early 1990s. Briefly summarised, Edwards' spin on now familiar arguments runs like this: since the early 1980s, Australian economic policy has been dominated by something called "economic rationalism".
