Jack Roush says he is "surprised but honored" to be recognized as TSN's top owner. "I didn't expect it," he says. "But after the season I've had, I'll always remember this year."
Roush Racing finished with 10 victories, the best on the circuit by four and eight more than its cars posted in 2001. Three Roush drivers--Mark Martin, Kurt Busch and Matt Kenseth--finished in the top 10 in points. No team had accomplished that feat since Hendrick Motorsports did it in 1995.
Greg Biffle won the Busch Series championship and will move up next season to give Roush five Winston Cup entries.
