Jakarta, November 21 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Military Headquarters (Mabes TNI) has said that there is neither increased number of military personnel nor stepped-up military activities in the Province of Nangroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD).

On the contrary, the National Defence Forces (TNI) has decided to change its operational pattern from being offensive to being defensive vis a vis the armed Free Aceh Movement (GAM) separatist group.
