More than 200 passengers on a flight from Harare to London touched down almost six hours late after their plane was diverted to allow Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe and his wife to catch a connecting flight to Havana.
The Air Zimbabwe flight, due to have touched down at London's Gatwick airport at 9:15am (0815 GMT) on Monday did not arrive until 2:52 pm because of a diversion to Madrid, The Daily Telegraph reported Tuesday.
Mugabe and his wife, Grace were heading to Havana on a five-day official visit.
One passenger, Robert Massey, said he was not informed of the diversion until he had checked in.
