Pakistan piled on another 300 runs against Zimbabwe here in the fifth and final one-day international of their tour at the Harare Sports Club.
But it was not achieved without early anxieties.
Having been put in to bat on Sunday by Alistair Campbell, the Zimbabwe captain, Pakistan lost three wickets for only 39 runs.
It was a unique experience on their Zimbabwe tour and when they were 90-4, it needed all the skills of Yousuf Youhana and Younis Khan not only to steer them out of trouble but to pile the pressure back onto the home team.
Youhana made a solid 88 in 93 balls and he appeared well set for 100 before being run out by Grant Flower. Khan came up with 90, his highest in international cricket, and he needed only 75 balls.
They put on 12 for the fifth wicket and Pakistan were back on track, despite the running out of Shahid Afridi before he got going.
