TEMELIN, South Bohemia, Dec 1 (CTK) - The first unit of the Temelin power plant was shut down for about a month according to a plan last night.

It is to resume operation in January, spokesman Milan Nebesar told CTK today.

The plant is thus trying to save fuel, Nebesar said.
