At its March 2002 meeting, the MTNA Board of Directors voted to propose an amendment to the MTNA Bylaws regarding terms of office of National and Division officers.
The Bylaws currently read:
"Article V. Officers
Section 3. National and Division Term of Office
Each officer shall be elected for one term of two (2) years and serve until his or her successor assumes office. The term of office shall begin and end thirty days following the close of the annual session in the election year."
