ISLAMABAD - The provincial share in federal revenue remained Rs 35.660 billion in first quarter (July-September) period of current financial year 2002-03.

Punjab has obtained revenue amounting to Rs 17.991 billion, Sindh Rs 10.277 billion, NWFP Rs 4.056 billion and Balochistan Rs 3.416 billion from the federal share in first quarter.

According to the Finance Ministry's official figures, the provincial revenue stood at Rs 57.397 billion against expenditures of Rs 59.310 billion in first three months of current financial year.
